Genesis 44

In this chapter, Joseph places his silver cup in Benjamin's sack and accuses him of theft. The verdict is that he would be taken as a slave and the rest would be sent back home. Judah pleads with Joseph to allow him to take Benjamin's place and in so doing, he foreshadows and typifies Christ. His closing statement should be the attitude of all believers. "...how shall I go up to my father, and the lad be not with me?" How shall we go to our Heavenly Father, and those around us not be with us.
