Year 2 of the famine has hit, and the supplies have run out. Simeon is still in Egypt, but Jacob refuses to allow his sons to return for fear of what might happen to Benjamin. Judah steps up and promises to take his place just as Christ took ours and Jacob relents and lets them return to procure food.
